The Hair WitchAfter working as an all-round hair stylist for 20 years, I could feel myself getting a little bored and despondent with my career.
I took some time to really think about what I wanted from my career and the things that I truly love doing, and it became increasingly obvious that my real passion lay in vivid colouring and alternative styles.
In the beginning, I found it difficult to make the transition from being an ‘everything’ stylist to becoming more specialist. It felt scary to say ‘no’ to clients. But with the help of some coaching and a lot of self-awareness, I’ve completely transformed the way I work.
I’ve created a career that allows me to do more of the things I genuinely love — rather than trying to please everyone.
And now, I want to help other stylists do the same.

The Academy
Because traditional education doesn’t always teach you the real, the raw or the intuitive.
I wanted an inclusive space where creativity is encouraged, questions are welcome and you’re supported every step of the way.
Our ethos is simple: to help individuals to develop their craft in their own style — without the rigid, one-size-fits-all approach to education.
This is that space.
